Reformation of Indonesian Healthcare Regime through Omnibus Health Law

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indonesian government has made major improvement of Indonesian healthcare system a national priority. To serve this objective, the Indonesian government issued Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health (the “Omnibus Health Law”) on 8 August 2023, revoking 11 laws in healthcare sector.
