Literary Linklaters – an appreciation of the firm’s creative writers, past and present

This month, we take up the literary theme by talking to a number of Linklaters people of current or past vintage who are also published authors. The range of interests to be found within their books underlines again how broad a church the Linklaters family is and always has been.

This month, on the alumni website, Andrew Jones, who has enjoyed a hugely successful career at Linklaters, where he is head of the firm’s Africa Group, explains how the lockdown restrictions during the Covid pandemic were the catalyst for a series of walks around his neighbourhood of Green Park. These in turn led to a series of social media observations, newspaper pieces and, ultimately, a book entitled The Buildings of Green Park. An invaluable vade mecum for anyone with an interest in architecture, social history and a beautiful area of Central London, the book has recently been published to uniformly positive reviews.
