Overview

Matt is an associate in Linklaters’ Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice in New York.

Prior to joining the firm, Matt served as a prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice. As a Trial Attorney in the Tax Division, he focused on tax evasion and other white-collar crimes.

He clerked for the Hon. Stephen A. Higginson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Hon. Michael W. Mosman of the United States District Court for the District of Oregon.

Education and qualifications

Matt obtained his Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School where he served as a Notes Editor of the Stanford Law Review. He was a member of the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic and the Prosecution Clinic.

He received a Bachelor of Arts, with Highest Distinction, in Political & Social Thought from the University of Virginia.
