Peiying is a Counsel in Linklaters’ Financial Regulation Group. She has over a decade of experience specialising in Singapore financial services regulations, in private practice and as a senior in-house lawyer.
Peiying has a wide range of experience advising banks, investment managers, broker-dealers, commodity houses, market operators, insurance companies, financial advisers, payment services providers and other financial institutions on various issues, including:
- offering of financial products such as derivatives and investment funds in Singapore;
- structuring of client servicing models, documentation and policies to comply with regulatory rules;
- licensing applications and other regulatory filings such as change in control;
- corporate M&A in the financial services sector; and
- regulatory change projects.
She also advises on regulatory investigations relating to regulatory compliance, such as failings in internal controls and insider dealing. Her expertise includes advising on derivatives, and she works closely with the firm’s derivatives and structured products team in this area.
