New partners at Linklaters – the name of the game today is transparency and communication

In the wake of the announcement of Linklaters’ latest round of partner promotions. On the alumni website, we cast an eye over the process of identifying the next generation of standard-bearers at the firm, whether internally or via lateral hire.

  • Ben Dulieu, 10 years a capital markets partner in London and a member of the Partnership Executive Committee for the last two of them, explains how the process has radically changed since his own promotion to the partnership: Ben Dulieu on a more modern way of identifying the new wave of Linklaters talent
  • Banking partner David Irvine was initially raised to the partnership in 2008. Seven years later, he joined Kirkland & Ellis but returned to Silk Street in 2020.
  • I-Ping Soong was made up to Partner in the round of May 2022 and is a leading member of the capital markets team in Hong Kong.
