Linklaters advises Allianz Direct on the agreement to acquire Eurofil’s insurance portfolio, brand and operational assets from Abeille Assurances
Linklaters has advised Allianz Direct, a subsidiary of the German group Allianz offering online insurance products, on its agreement to acquire Eurofil’s insurance portfolio, brand, and operational assets from Abeille IARD & Santé, as well as to integrate over 300 employees.
This acquisition, which remains subject to the usual regulatory approvals for this type of transaction, will position Allianz Direct as the third largest player in the French direct insurance market. The employee representative bodies of the relevant parties are also being consulted. Completion of the transaction is expected by the end of 2025.
